E-mail is not as confidential as postal mail, or for that matter faxed mail. It may have been altered - accidentally or deliberately - since it left our computers. It may contain viruses, worms or other unwelcome content. If you would rather receive information from us by post or fax only please let us know. If you choose to open e-mail correspondence you must scan it before you open it. We regularly scan and disinfect our computer systems but this is no guarantee that e-mails are safe.
