Built in 1923 as a grand Bank, the building was extensively renovated with many original features restored in 1998 to create The Bank Hotel in Edinburgh City Centre, and which was refurbished in February 2008.

The Bank Hotel on The Royal Mile Edinburgh comprises 9 en-suite bedrooms of a 3 star hotel accommodation standard, each one individually designed to reflect the work and lives of a famous Scot. Arranged over the three floors and accessed via the original staircase, all rooms benefit from LCD panel TV's, safes, hairdryers, direct-dial telephones, Tea & Coffee making facilities and added comforts such as CD players, bathrobes & limited room service.

In the morning a full Scottish and continental style breakfast selection is served by our helpful staff in the mezzanine level of the Bank Bar, with views onto The Royal Mile.

With such an excellent location, transport is not necessary, however, Waverley Train Station is only two minutes walk away & Edinburgh Airport can be accessed via the Airlink bus service which runs every 10 minutes from the airport to the city centre.
